GAME SUMMARY:
Two alliances of three teams each work to protect this futuristic city by accomplishing these tasks during the 2-min 30-sec game:
- Shoot power cells into high and low goals
- Carefully spin the control panel to a desired color or a certain number of rotations
- Climb the shield generator at the end of the match, and keep it balanced for extra points.
Power Cells
ROBOT GOALS:
Our goal was to be a great support robot.
We developed a strategy that we believed would make us a great partner on a high-quality alliance. Here are the tasks our robot was designed to complete:
Pick up power cells from the floor
Score power cells in the low goal
Climb on the shield generator
Play defense, and withstand opponent defense
2020-2021
BUILD SEASON:
We had about 6 weeks to design, build, program, and practice before our Week 1 competition.
Qualification Ranking: 25th place out of 60 teams
